About this role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SERS Data Analysis & Optical Systems Intern to join our team for a fixed-term engagement. The successful candidate will develop and refine algorithms for SERS spectral analysis, establish quality metrics for optical setups, and assist in the development of a 638 nm SERS system.

TASKS
• Improve peak-finding algorithms for SERS spectra.
• Analyze SERS spectra from production and prototype tools to determine spectral quality metrics for evaluating different optical setups.
• Assist in developing methodologies for classifying defect particles via SERS analysis.
• Assist with the hardware development of a 638-nm SERS system.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Computing, or Data Engineering.
Technical Experience:
• Experience in developing scripts and methodologies for data analysis (Python experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with spectral techniques (e.g., IR, Raman, PL, EDX, XPS).
• Experience developing or working with optical equipment.
