We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing fresh, high-quality baked goods and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Please note: This is not a student position.
Key Responsibilities
Baking & Product Preparation
• Prepare and bake a variety of fresh products, including donuts, muffins, bagels, cookies, and other baked goods.
• Follow company recipes, procedures, and production standards to ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
• Prepare products according to daily production requirements and business needs.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout the baking process.
Food Safety & Cleanliness
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Keep the baking area, kitchen, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Customer Service & Store Support
• Occasionally assist with customer orders when needed, providing friendly and accurate service.
• Ensure displays and product areas are kept fully stocked with fresh, appealing products.
• Maintain high standards of product presentation throughout the day.
Teamwork & Communication
• Work closely with team members and management to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Communicate inventory needs, product shortages, and equipment concerns to management.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment.
Skills & Qualifications
• Previous baking, food preparation, or restaurant experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with baking and food preparation.
• Ability to lift and move ingredients and supplies as required.
• Flexibility to work early morning, overnight, and/or weekend shifts based on business needs.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on position in a busy restaurant and baking environment. The Baker will work as part of a team to ensure customers receive fresh, high-quality products every day.
