What you'll be doing
As a Residential Care Worker, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and structured home environment where young people can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Supporting daily routines, education and recreational activities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
• Implementing therapeutic approaches and behaviour support strategies.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals.
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual care plans.
• Providing emotional support during both challenging and rewarding moments.
