About this role

Essential Duties:

• Manage the alumni inbox and respond to inquiries or route requests appropriately

• Coordinate logistics for national alumni events, networking receptions, webinars, volunteer

activities, and convenings

• Secure venues, manage contracts, registration platforms, RSVP tracking, nametags, event

materials, travel logistics, and vendor coordination

• Maintain event participant profiles, attendance records, post-event reports, surveys, and debrief documentation

• Coordinate volunteer engagement including speakers, panelists, application reviewers,

mentors, video thank-you participants, and ambassadors

• Maintain accurate alumni records in Blackbaud CRM including contact information,

employment, graduation status, employer, industry, and communication preferences

• Perform ongoing data integrity audits and proactively update alumni records

• Develop alumni welcome and engagement kits and coordinate distribution

• Coordinate quarterly alumni newsletters and email marketing campaigns in partnership with

Marketing while ensuring brand standards

• Assist with marketing deliverables, mass donor relations communications, and cross-functional

campaign execution

• Support Alumni Advisory Council meeting logistics, records, and communications

• Generate reports and dashboards on participation, volunteer engagement, communications,

and alumni trends

• Collaborate with team to streamline data handoff between departments on a cyclical basis

• Identify alumni success stories ('Where Are They Now') for stewardship and marketing

• Support fundraising and development initiatives by identifying engaged alumni prospects and

maintaining constituent information

• Maintain confidentiality and represent Native Forward professionally

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, marketing, public relations,

business, higher education, or related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience

coordinating events, alumni relations, constituent engagement, nonprofit administration,

development, or customer relationship management. Experience with Blackbaud CRM or Raiser's

Edge strongly preferred.

Knowledge,Abilities,Skills:

• Knowledge of American Indian History, culture, and Tribes.

• Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment

• Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with coworkers at all levels

• Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment.

• Ability to analyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action.

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to simplify complex themes and activities into a short, compelling presentation or written piece

$27.59 -$33.27 per hour
