What You'll Do
As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you'll create a welcoming, engaging classroom where children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn.
You'll:
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily learning experiences
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
• Encourage creativity, independence, confidence, and positive peer relationships
• Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through regular communication
• Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration
• Maintain an organized classroom that meets health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements
• Partner with center leadership to provide high-quality early childhood education
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced educator who is ready to take ownership of a classroom and make a positive impact on young learners.
• Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
• Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Positive and collaborative leadership style
• Passion for working with preschool-aged children
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
