About this role
CCIA is seeking a bright, capable law student to be a Law Clerk in our DC office for Fall 2025. We are now accepting applications from students who will be starting the second or third year of law school.
Law Clerks cover a variety of ongoing and emerging internet law and policy issues. Students with a demonstrable interest and significant coursework in competition, privacy, online speech, trade, telecommunications, and/or intellectual property are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with the federal legislative and administrative processes required. Strong language and writing skills are essential.
Projects will include analysis of draft legislation and rules, legal research and writing, digesting Congressional hearings, and assisting with the generation of regulatory comments.
This position is paid, part-time, and requires a commitment of at least 11 weeks. CCIA will also work with the school should the student be requesting externship credit(s).
Being based in our DC office, this role requires weekly in-person attendance. CCIA is unable to assist with relocation.
