About this role
The following overall responsibility of the position will include: Wash and clear sink and work surfaces. Wash and dry floor every day before children arrive. Check toilet area - wash and sweep, check hand towels. Ensure cleaning done through policy and procedures standards. Help to prepare activities as requested by room supervisor. Put toys back in shed, sweep, tidy sand pit, wash outdoor toys and tidy garden. Get involved in daily activities. Work with team on areas that need cleaning. Supervision will be from the manager of the service. Thoroughly clean one area of the playroom once a week. Wash windows and deep clean all equipment when required. Maintain confidentiality. Help to maintain health and safety standards. Other duties as required by the manager. Validated references and completed Garda Vetting, and international police clearance, where necessary, are required before starting.
