About this role

Our client, Armorum Limited, based in Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Electricians - Cranes for immediate start at their two facilities in Co. Dublin. Key Responsibilities & Duties: - Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems on tower cranes, including motors, sensors, limit switches, and control panels. - Carry out regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks on crane electrical systems. - Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, variable frequency drives, and other automated control systems. - Work with onboard monitoring and diagnostic systems to identify and resolve faults. - Install, calibrate, and maintain safety devices, alarms, and load monitoring systems in compliance with regulatory standards. - Produce accurate service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records. - Collaborate with mechanical engineers and field teams to ensure complete crane functionality. - Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with site-specific and industry safety regulations. - Travel to construction sites and work in varied field conditions. Requirements: - Candidates must have the requisite experience and knowledge to perform all job duties listed above - Minimum 3–5 years of experience working on cranes (e.g., mobile cranes, tower cranes, or overhead cranes) and other heavy equipment in a field service capacity - Experience working on brands such as Cummins, Liebherr, Caterpillar, MTU - Qualified Electrician (or equivalent) with industrial, commercial, or heavy equipment experience. - Proven experience in industrial or heavy machinery electrical systems, preferably cranes or lifting equipment. - Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, motors, PLCs, sensors, and safety circuits. - Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. - Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Awareness of tower crane safety regulations, LOLER/PUWER (or equivalent). Annual Remuneration: €56,784.00; Pay Rate €28.00 per hour Work Locations: - Armorum Limited, Kylemore Park North, Ballyfermot, Co.
