Our client, Sean Doyle Windows Limited, based in Roscommon, is currently seeking Joiners for immediate start at their facility in Roscommon. Key Responsibilities and Duties: - Workshop-based roll where the successful candidate will be responsible for producing bespoke furniture and joinery items in line with project specifications. - To work from technical drawings, using both traditional and modern woodworking techniques to manufacture high-quality products that meet high standards. - To construct the wooden components of buildings, such as stairs, doors, and door and window frames - Manufacture bespoke joinery and furniture pieces in a factory environment. - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively. - Work with a variety of materials including hardwood, softwood, MDF, veneers, and laminates. - Ensure all finished products meet quality, safety, and design standards. - Maintain a safe and tidy workshop environment in line with company policies. Requirements: - Candidates must have the requisite experience and knowledge to perform all job duties listed above - Minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within workshop/manufacturing setting - Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques. - Ability to work from drawings with precision and attention to detail. - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work on bespoke/custom projects. - Commitment to high standards of craftsmanship and health & safety. - Experience in a large factory with high-quality and high-volume output - Previous experience in furniture manufacture or joinery fit-out projects. - Familiarity with CNC machinery and modern woodworking technology. - A relevant certification is a plus but is not required Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour Work Location: Sean Doyle Windows Limited, Circular Road, Roscommon, F42 DY02 Number of hours work each week: 39 If you're interested in this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV to [email protected] or call 019020688 to enquire for more details.
