About this role
The role involves assisting in the maintenance of Cork Simon Community’s premises to keep them in a good state of repair and decoration. Duties include: general maintenance & repair, e.g. repairs to door locks, glazed panels and other fittings, painting of interiors of the buildings etc. A Maintenance Assistant position with a focus on gardening is also available. We can provide you with accredited training and development opportunities to help you progress into more regular employment. As a long standing CE sponsor, we have a good track record in this respect. Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
