We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Foreman (Qualified Carpenter) to join a leading residential and retrofit construction company in Kerry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all finishing works are completed to the highest standard, coordinating trades on-site, carrying out inspections, and ensuring projects are ready for client handover. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and coordinate finishing works across residential and retrofit projects. - Inspect completed works and ensure they meet company quality standards. - Carry out snagging inspections and ensure issues are identified and rectified. - Review workmanship and sign off completed works prior to handover. - Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on-site. - Ensure carpentry, joinery, and second-fix works are completed to a high standard. - Provide guidance and support to site teams where required. - Maintain strong communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. - Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project timelines. Requirements: - Qualified carpenter with experience in residential construction. - Previous experience in a finishing, supervisory, or foreman role. - Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and residential finishing works. - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues and defects. - Experience overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades. - Ability to take ownership of quality control and project completion. - Strong understanding of construction processes from first fix through to final handover. - Full clean driving license
