Sustainability | OMVPetrom.com Your tasks Identify, screen and evaluate upstream growth opportunities, including acquisitions, divestments, farm-ins/farm-outs, joint ventures, exploration licences and selected low-carbon projects. Develop and review valuations, business plans, DCF models, decision trees and sensitivity analyses. Support transactions end to end—from screening and due diligence through negotiation, approval and closing. Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across E&P, finance, legal, tax, ESG and other business divisions. Act as PMO for BD projects, tracking responsibilities, milestones, deliverables, costs and approvals. Manage data rooms, contracts, access rights and documentation, ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Monitor M&A activity, competitors, licensing rounds, fiscal developments and industry trends. Turn complex technical and commercial information into clear recommendations and compelling executive presentations. Coach junior colleagues and contribute to building strong commercial capabilities within the BD&C team. Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with the highest level of integrity. Perform other job-related responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager based on business needs. Significant changes to the role (if any) will be reflected in an updated Job Description Your profile Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering / Energy related speciality. Top tier European / International university is a Plus Relevant professional experience: > 7 years 5+ years’ experience in upstream E&P, energy business development, commercial analysis or strategic project management; international exposure is an advantage. Good understanding of the technical, commercial and financial aspects of the oil and gas business. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical input into commercial insights and recommendations. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, including preparing clear executive-level materials. Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams, manage competing priorities and deliver against tight deadlines. Proactive, collaborative and self-motivated, with strong ownership, sound judgement and leadership potential. Excellent command of English.
