About the opportunity We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate Product Development Engineer to join our Anaesthesia electronics team. We have an exciting future in applying our core technologies to new & existing markets with ground-breaking designs which provide better outcomes for patients and healthcare specialists. You'll see your designs advance from imagination through to realisation, in a supportive, focussed & fun working environment. As a talented electronics engineer, you are keen to take ownership and to develop electronic solutions for an innovative medical device from concept to mass production. Your problem-solving skills and your inquisitive attitude will guide you through complex design challenges; your attention to detail will help you producing electronics design meeting reliability standards and regulatory requirements. With the support of an experienced and high performing team; you will have plenty of opportunities to learn, improve and grow in a professional R&D environment. Your excellent communication skills and your ability to build strong relationships will make you a great fit within the large product group team. Your day-to-day activities will involve: Design, analysis, and simulation of electronic circuits Testing and debugging electronics with various test equipment PCB schematic and layout design with Altium Designer Selection and sourcing of electronic components Documentation of design requirements, specifications, and testing About you Skills & Experience Key qualifications Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering You have 2-6 years of experience in electronics hardware development The ideal candidate will have Experience with Altium Designer Experience with EMC compliance and reliability Understanding of design for manufacturing principles Great verbal and written communication skills Experience relating to a highly regulated industry advantageous This is a rare opportunity to join a successful team and to play a role in the development of the next generation medical devices working in state-of-the-art facilities and model shops.
