As The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH) continues to strengthen its global talent acquisition capabilities, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Manager, Talent Acquisition to support the attraction, engagement and hiring of exceptional talent across our diverse portfolio of businesses and corporate office. This role is responsible for managing recruitment assignments, delivering talent market intelligence, building candidate pipelines and supporting employer branding initiatives. Working closely with hiring managers and People & Culture teams, the successful candidate will help drive efficient, data-informed and technology-enabled recruitment practices while ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects the standards of HSH and The Peninsula brand. Partner with leadership on talent selection Leverage emerging technologies Contribute to talent acquisition transformation Key Accountabilities Manage end-to-end recruitment assignments, including requisition management, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communications, offer management and ATS administration in line with HSH standards. Partner with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to understand hiring requirements, recommend search strategies and support effective recruitment decisions. Conduct talent market research, competitor analysis and talent mapping to identify talent pools, market trends and future pipeline opportunities. Build and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, professional networks, referrals, search firms and other sourcing channels Utilise the Applicant Tracking System, Office 365, reporting tools and digital recruitment platforms to maintain accurate recruitment data, monitor activity and improve visibility of hiring workflows. Explore and implement AI-enabled tools, automation solutions and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing, market research, reporting, candidate engagement and process efficiency Prepare recruitment reports, dashboards and talent market insights, providing stakeholders with updates on hiring activity, candidate pipelines, recruitment metrics and market developments. Serve as a professional point of contact for candidates and stakeholders, ensuring timely, courteous and brand-aligned communication throughout the recruitment process. Coordinate offers, reference checks, background screening and pre-boarding activities with accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail. Support talent acquisition projects, employer branding initiatives, campus recruitment programmes, career fairs and other talent attraction activities in partnership with Regional Talent Acquisition Leads and People & Culture teams. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, technology adoption, candidate experience and stakeholder service through practical and innovative solutions General Requirements Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related discipline. Minimum 5-7 years management experience in talent acquisition or executive search within the luxury or retail hotel sectors Demonstrated experience managing recruitment assignments across a range of functions and levels (such as pre-opening, corporate, project specific roles) Strong sourcing, talent mapping and market research capabilities Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office 365 and digital recruitment technologies. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
