About this role
As a Quality Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
ou will be responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory standards and maintaining the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS). Working closely with operational and engineering teams, you will play a key role in audits, approvals, and continuous improvement of quality processes within a regulated aerospace environment.
Location: NewportOn Site: 2-3 days per weekClearance: Eligibility for UK Security Clearance required Experience Level: Mid- SeniorKey Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate regulatory approvals with aviation authorities (e.g. CAA)Ensure compliance with PART 21J and ISO standardsAct as the primary interface with regulatory bodies and auditorsMaintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)Manage non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective actionsLead preparation and support for audits and regulatory inspectionsEnsure robust processes across returns, concessions, and non-compliant componentsSupport operational teams in maintaining quality and regulatory standards Required Skills:
Strong experience in quality and regulatory compliance within aerospace or aviationWorking knowledge of PART 21J, CAA regulations, and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001)Experience managing audits, approvals, and external regulatory interfacesProven ability to manage non-conformities and corrective action processesStrong understanding of QMS and continuous improvement methodologiesRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Experience working in a regulated aerospace or safety-critical environmentDemonstrated experience in quality assurance, compliance, or certification rolesDesirable Skills:
Experience working within a PART 21J Design OrganisationFamiliarity with EASA/CAA certification processesExposure to aerospace manufacturing or MRO environmentsKnowledge of configuration control and documentation standards Why join us?
