About this role

Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor supervises daily warehouse activities to ensure the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of products and materials in support of operational requirements and customer demand. The role maintains effective use and upkeep of storage facilities, controls inventory records and stock levels, coordinates stock counts, supervises requisition processing and supports improvements to warehouse systems and operating methods. It also resolves customer concerns, promotes compliance with approved procedures and ensures warehouse personnel follow health, safety and integrated management system requirements in a fast-moving environment. Job Responsibilities 1 Warehouse Operations Supervision • Supervise daily warehouse activities to support the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of products and materials in line with operational and customer demand. • Coordinate warehouse personnel and activities to maintain smooth operations and compliance with approved policies, procedures and standard operating requirements. Storage Facility Utilization and Upkeep • Maintain the optimum utilization of warehouse storage facilities so available space supports orderly, accessible and efficient inventory handling. • Oversee the upkeep of storage areas and related facilities to preserve safe operating conditions and reliable warehouse performance. Stocktaking and Inventory Counts • Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals to verify inventory quantities and record accuracy. • Perform and coordinate inventory counts, investigate identified variances and support timely correction of inventory records. Inventory System Data Management • Maintain the Company’s integrated inventory-management system database to ensure inventory information remains accurate, standardized and complete. • Review inventory data and supporting records to identify errors and maintain reliable information for warehouse control and operational decision-making. Inventory Control and Compliance • Manage daily inventory operations and ensure activities comply with approved inventory-control policies and procedures. • Apply warehouse-control and inventory-control practices to safeguard materials, maintain accurate records and support reliable stock availability. Customer Concern Resolution • Lead follow-up on customer concerns relating to warehouse activities, stock or service delivery and coordinate timely resolution. • Identify errors and their root causes and implement robust countermeasures to prevent recurrence and support continuous customer service. Warehouse Systems and Continuous Improvement • Work closely with warehouse management to implement warehouse and management systems and integrate relevant best practices. • Monitor and review operating methods to achieve qualitative and quantitative improvements while maintaining effective customer service. Job Responsibilities 2 Requisition and Reimbursement Processing • Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursement of warehouse codes in accordance with approved requirements. • Complete and coordinate requisitions for required materials to maintain adequate stock levels and support uninterrupted operations. Supply Ordering and Stock Availability • Order supplies and goods as needed based on inventory counts, operational requirements and identified stock needs. • Monitor available stock and coordinate replenishment activities to assure adequate inventory levels are maintained. HSE and IMS Support • Support the implementation of health, safety and environmental initiatives and ensure warehouse personnel comply with safety and standard operating procedures. • Participate in safety-awareness activities and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with Company and Integrated Management System policies. Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills • Warehouse Materials Knowledge: Knowledge of the types and characteristics of materials stored in the warehouse to support appropriate storage, handling and retrieval. • Storekeeping and Warehousing Practices: Practical knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing practices, including the use of relevant software and maintenance of accurate records. • Warehouse and Inventory Control: Knowledge of warehouse control, inventory control and related duties required to maintain reliable stock and orderly operations. • Microsoft Office and Communication: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications together with good communication skills for effective coordination, recordkeeping and reporting. • ERP and SAP Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably including SAP functional capabilities, required to support inventory and warehouse activities. Job Experience • Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in warehousing, inventory or a related field. • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or storekeeping. • GCC Experience: Minimum 2 years of GCC experience is considered an advantage.
