Job Overview The Quality Engineer monitors and applies quality standards and techniques for the production of TE Connectivity Sensor Solutions. He/She ensures that new products delivered to the customer meet quality requirements and fully comply with the customer’s specifications. He/she conducts in-depth quality management activities within manufacturing, ensuring products meet specifications through robust in-process and inspection controls. Job Requirements Responsible for various assigned projects Acts as the customer’s representative for all quality‑related aspects Sets quality objectives in alignment with customer goals Coordinates corrective and preventive actions resulting from customer complaints Manages quality assurance agreements Serves as the VOC (Voice of the Customer) for all quality‑related matters Monitors the quality level of newly manufactured products and analyzes defects occurring in production for projects in the launch phase Administers and resolves quality complaints received from customers for the products under her responsibility. Leads customer complaint review meetings for new products and completes the corresponding 8D reports Ensures that quality policies and procedures are applied throughout the production process Evaluates existing quality procedures and proposes optimization measures Performs process and product audits according to international and regional standards Proposes and implements actions for correcting and preventing deviations from quality standards or issues derived from customer complaints Leads technical analyses for new products and participates in material reviews Provides guidance/training to operators and technicians in the production area on quality topics, customer requirements, customer complaints, and internal quality issues Proposes technical process changes to the engineering department Performs statistical analyses based on production data Regularly reports on the evolution of quality performance indicators Creates validation documentation and acceptance/rejection files according to product specifications Prepares and coordinates customer audits Verifies the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for new products Coordinates the approval process for new parts (PPAP) Is responsible for creating and maintaining the control plan Has the authority to stop the production line in case of nonconformity or risk to the customer What your background should look like Finished diploma in Engineering (process, production, or another similar discipline) 3+ years of experience in a Quality department 3+ years of experience in production Internal auditor skills from prior experience (Certification is nice to have) Technical knowledge: 5Why, 8D, Ishikawa, SAP, PDCA, PFMEA PC skills: Minitab (or a similar statistical analysis software), Microsoft Office Strong communication skills Team spirit English proficiency Competencies
