Could you be the full-time Line SIG Installation Manager in Cairo, Egypt we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your railway signalling expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, forward-thinking, and dedicated team. You'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing all signalling installation activities across the Cairo Monorail project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, design, testing & commissioning, and system integration), drive project milestones, and ensure the safe and timely delivery of signalling systems while managing resources effectively. You’ll specifically take care of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors, but also resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. We’ll look to you for: Leading and supervising all signalling installation activities along the assigned monorail line sections Developing and monitoring installation schedules in coordination with the construction and project management teams Ensuring successful execution of installation works according to project plans, procedures, and technical documentation Coordinating with engineering, design, testing & commissioning, and system integration teams Managing installation of signalling equipment, including wayside cabinets, signals, interlocking equipment, balises, cable routes, telecom interfaces, and associated infrastructure Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with project HSE requirements and local regulations Monitoring inspections, testing records, and installation documentation to ensure quality compliance Acting as the primary signalling installation interface with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders Preparing progress reports and tracking KPIs related to installation progress, quality, productivity, and safety All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent Experience in railway signalling systems, including at least 5 years in a management position Proven experience in large-scale railway, metro, LRT, or monorail projects Strong knowledge of railway signalling systems and installation practices Leadership and team management skills Experience managing multidisciplinary installation teams and subcontractors Ability to plan, schedule, and meet demanding project deadlines Excellent communication and reporting abilities A problem-solving and decision-making mindset Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
