About this role

Position Overview Lead project and CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) management across multiple sites with focus on expanding capacity, improving productivity and minimizing labor and overhead costs. Ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and regulatory compliance in all project work. Be the knowledge expert for processes and equipment operations. Primary Responsibilities Build and manage the three year capital plan and provide monthly spending forecasts to reflect project activity. Develop plans to meet growth objectives and new product launches. Analyze spending to ensure a balance between new investments, productivity initiatives and profit sustaining work is done to support business growth while protecting the asset base. Lead and/or oversee the process of Capital Expenditure projects using the PM methodology defined as standard within the Puratos Group Develop and maintain project schedules, manage project milestones, and communicate risks and deviations. The execution will be done with the help of the local team and/or the contractors. This incumbent has to follow up, control, advise and assist during the execution of the project. On a project basis, this individual will play the role of Project Manager/Engineer himself/herself. Ensure transparent and effective communication within the Group’s matrix organization as well as with external partners (suppliers, contractors, engineering companies, authorities, etc.) Lead project reviews and insure project activity meets scope, cost and time objectives. Be responsible for the compliance of the conceptual design with the project objectives and with local specifications and requirements. Develop the basic and detailed design according to the general design requirements. Remain current with latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation. Stay abreast of emerging technology partnering with R&D and Sales. Ensure corporate policies and standards are followed in capital project implementation and that they guide daily operations to be within standards. Promote, with site managers, a safe and environmentally sound workplace that complies with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. Responsible for improving plant production, quality, and financial performance through implementation of statistical process improvement programs. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and TPM methodologies to analyze data, provide expert coaching, and identify improvement opportunities based on financial, productivity, quality, safety and production metrics. Provide technical leadership and apply knowledge and experience on new investments and equipment modifications. Support local operations with technical assistance and ensure training of employees and knowledge transfer to end users on process and equipment. Education Requirements Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Engineering or technical degree from accredited college or university Years Of Experience 5 years work experience in relative field, preferably in a plant environment managing technical projects Prior Knowledge/Experience • Languages: English required, Spanish a plus • Information & Communication Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Suite tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Other expertise: Travel: up to 30% Compensation Compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $90,000 to $125,000
