Qualifications: Valid state department of education license/permit as determined at the time of appointment.Meets all mandated state/federal criteria (i.e., approved degree, completion of requisite higher education credit hours/courses, or acceptable score on an authorized professional standards test).Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures. Meets all mandated health screening requirements. Duties:
• Assists assigned students as scheduled, to plan, organize and implement activities that facilitate student learning in the classroom and online.
• Assists in the coverage of classes as needed.
• Consults with classroom teachers to clarify student needs.
• Tracks and communicates program objectives/performance/progress expectations to students/parents.
• Clarifies and explains subject matters to help students understand concepts and gauge student's level of comprehension.
• Exemplifies professionalism that advances the district's public image.
• Helps students understand/embrace ethical conduct and values.
• Takes initiative to perform routine tasks independently.
• Maintains open/effective communications.
• Keeps current with technology and other skills associated with work assignments.
• Take precautions to ensure safety.
• Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Contract: 2026-2027 One Year Limited Contract for 183 contracted days during the school year with benefits, 7 hours per day.
