About this role
The Oak Ridge School in Sandwich, a grades 3-6 school, is looking for two (2) Part-time Math/ELA Interventionists to work with students for the 2026-2027 school year. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Appointed on an annual basis QUALITIES / ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Organization, patience, and a sense of humor required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
• Provide direct instruction to students identified as eligible for Math/ELA intervention services in one to one or small group settings.
• Use formal and informal assessment data to guide student achievement.
• Use a variety of manipulatives and hands on materials to support the needs of individual students.
• Commitment to Math/ELA mindset, persistence and growth.
• Create and maintain records of Math/ELA intervention services.
• Assess student progress and provide progress reports as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Math Coach and other interventionists on programming, data, schedules and instruction.
• Assist in the administration of all benchmark assessments.
• Other duties as requested by the Principal or Curriculum Director.
This is a Category 3 ESP position. COMPENSATION: Per the ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the Sandwich website.
