Core Responsibilities
• Instructional Support: Adapts classroom materials, guides independent study, and assists students one-on-one or in small groups.
• IEP Implementation: Helps carry out accommodations, modifications, and program objectives outlined in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Behavior Management: Implements behavioral intervention plans, tracks progress data, and models coping or social skills.
• Physical & Personal Care: Assists students with mobility, adaptive equipment, and functional self-help skills when required.
• Documentation: Records student data, maintains strict confidentiality, and helps complete progress reports for regular evaluations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
