CNA 0r EMT Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Bilingual oral and written communication skills preferred. Necessary special requirements:
• Montana Driver's license or the ability to obtain license within three months of hire date.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 1 month after hire.
Essential Job Duties
• Administer first aid as needed.
• Support students with health plans as directed by school nurse.
• Perform technical procedures as directed by school nurse (e.g. blood glucose testing, subcutaneous injectable epinephrine, diapering, catheterization).
• Maintain student immunization files as directed by school nurse.
• Maintain student health files as directed by school nurse.
• Document the care and treatments provided to each student in his/her individual health file or in daily log record book.
• Assist school nurse with yearly screenings.
• Assist in preparing district and state required reports.
• Maintain a clean and orderly health office, including inventorying as directed by school nurse.
• Perform clerical and secretarial duties as assigned by school principal including covering office positions during coworkers' assigned lunches or breaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
