POSITION: Game Site Supervisor LOCATION: Ellensburg High School/Morgan Middle School REPORTS TO: Athletic Director JOB SUMMARY: Provide assistance to the Athletic Director in coordinating all on-site activities related to the Ellensburg High School/Middle School Sports Programs ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Promoting positive attitudes with students, parents, staff and community.
• Supervising set-up and take down of facilities for the Sports Programs.
• Providing supervision and monitoring of “crowds” at the sporting events.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Must qualify to work in the proximity of children under the conditions of a WSP/FBI background check.
• Must have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate and be versed in related preventative health and training standards.
• Must complete Blood Borne Pathogen and Sexual Harassment Training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous site supervision experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a positive, supportive manner with student participants, parents, coaches, school administration and staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively with student participants, parents, coaches, school administration and staff.
• Ability to work as a responsible member of a co-curricular staff in full cooperation with coaches and the Athletic Director.
