Contract Days/Hours: 9-month; 5.75-hours per day Report Times: 9:15 am to 3:30 pm (report times are based on the building schedule and are subject to change) Salary: $15.73 starting hourly rate with annual step increases in accordance with the OAPSE negotiated agreement. Reports To: Building Principals Evaluations: Performance evaluated annually in accordance with the OAPSE negotiated agreement
Duties and Responsibilities: (See the Building Administrators for specific details of assignment)
• Monitor student(s) individually, in small or large groups in a variety of circumstances relating to the school environment • Maintain confidentiality • Provide leadership by enforcing pupil behavior set forth by the building principal • Have a basic understanding of school building operations • Ensure that students are in a safe, secure environment at all times • Employ a variety of strategies to manage student behavior and conflict • Crossing Guard duties when required • Operate office equipment • All other duties consistent with the general job description as assigned by the Building Administrators, Superintendent, and/or designee

• Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks • Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement • Rapback Enrollment through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce • Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training • Negative drug screen result
