Nita M. Lowey 21st Century CLC Grant Site Coordinator Classified Position 7 hours a day @ $17.03 an hour from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm (Intervention Assistant Payscale 0-3 years) Intervention Assistant Classified Rate @ 200 days per year Work day from 11:00 - 6:00 pm - Allowing time to check with teachers for homework help, meetings as needed, prepare afternoon programming supplies and attendance/clean-up; advisory council meetings - after school 4 days a week Focus on recruitment and retention of students Must be CPR Certified Input all student data/demographics from IC into TransACT for reporting - pay close attention to SSID - make sure they match the student you are entering Create attendance sheets, file, and input attendance in TransAct Gather homework each day for students to work on in after-school programming Attend PLC Meetings to address 21st Century and teacher concerns with students Develop and monitor teacher referrals - Google Doc Inventory ALL 21st Century Supplies - note these on the inventory sheet for the grant (Required by the end of September 2026) Develop and report back on Student Interest Surveys for 21st Century Programming Plan Field Trip for Spring 2027 Help plan Summer Programming Be visible at CCHS; cannot help out in classrooms or things like that but must be working on grant information and gathering supplies for afternoons; making sure students understand where to go and where they will check in after school Set-up snack for students and make sure that students sign in for afternoon programming Create Parent Interest Surveys and create a report of these Attend 4 Family Nights - 2 in Fall; 2 in Spring Call parents/guardians as needed Work Summer programming - part of 200 required days, but the schedule would change to 8:00-3:00 pm Help determine what student's needs are Attend Open House
