High School Intern - CTE Classroom Assistant, INTERNAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY Job Title: Classroom Support Intern Reports To: SHS Teacher / Site Supervisor Job Type: Paid Internship 20-40 hours per semester Grade Level: 12th Grade Job Overview The classroom support intern will assist teachers at Salem High School with daily classroom activities. Interns will provide support during lessons, help students stay on task, and assist with organizing materials and resources. This internship allows students to experience what it's like to work in an educational setting while exploring connections to their own postsecondary plans. Responsibilities
• Support the teacher in creating a safe, focused classroom environment.
• Assist individual students or small groups with assignments and activities.
• Help prepare, organize, or distribute classroom materials.
• Model positive, professional behavior at all times.
• Complete a brief reflection project showing how the internship experience connects to your future education or career pathway.
Qualifications
• Salem High School 12th grader or Post High scholar in good standing.
• Reliable, responsible, and respectful of confidentiality.
• Interested in exploring education, leadership, or related fields.
