About this role
Individuals who do not have a valid Florida educator certificate must obtain an Athletic Coaching K-12 certification from the Florida Department of Education to be eligible for paid coaching positions in public schools. All coaches are required to hold valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association. High school Assistant Varsity & JV Coaches are paid a supplement of $1,627.50 at the end of the season. Employment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
