POSITION: Grade 2 Implementation Specialist STAFFING: 4-8 Grade 2 Teachers: Preferably staff from different schools. Position and total number of teachers are dependent upon availability of funds from Title II, applications from qualified candidates, and need. DATES: 2026-27 School Year REQUIREMENTS: The specialist will:
• Support colleagues in implementation of Wit & Wisdom (and 95 Core Program), with an emphasis on instructional integrity and impact.
• Share turn-key best practices and lesson strategies during PLC meetings, district in-service days, and other professional development opportunities.
• Attend formal planning and feedback meetings with district leadership to review progress and plan next steps.
• Engage in peer observation, modeling, and constructive feedback.
• Assist in creating professional development resources (e.g., training videos, videos of lessons) and submit a minimum of three videos.
• Document work with staff and submit logs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experienced and passionate about teaching Wit & Wisdom, along with an understanding of district instructional philosophies and best practices for ELA instruction.
• Successfully implement the program and demonstrate high student academic outcomes.
• LETRS training preferred at the elementary level.
• Strong fidelity to the program and usage of district-approved materials.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and model reflective practice.
• Comfortable facilitating professional learning and peer support.
• Willingness to grow in leadership and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
