September 2026 to December 2026 Qualifications:
• School Social Worker certification required or meet requirements for full or temporary approval from MDE
• Must have strong behavioral background with an emphasis on creating and implementing behavior plans and functional behavior assessments
• Strong data analysis experience preferred
Description:
• Provide professional development on behavior strategies to teachers and administrators
• Works with building in behavior support
• Develops RTI and behavior in strategic planning
• Takes an active role in the SST at the building level by addressing behavioral needs for all students
• Supports all at-risk students
• Knowledge of community mental health agencies
• Facilitates SEL interventions
• Referrals to outside agencies
• Classroom groups
• Plans for individual students and small groups on targeted skills
• Regular and consistent attendance
