POSITION TITLE: Hourly Warehouse Worker/Driver - Child Nutrition REPORTS TO: Child Nutrition Director/ Warehouse Foreman TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Hourly warehouse worker with Fort Smith Public Schools is a part-time, temporary position. Hours will be: Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. BEGINNING: September, 2026 LOCATION: Child Nutrition Office Delivery Drivers will be paid an hourly rate of $15 - (paid on the 15th and 31st of each month) **Delivery drivers will need to be available from 6 AM-2 PM** QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Work experience in the food-service industry is preferred.
• Ability to deal effectively with child nutrition staff
• Drivers must have a good driving record.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
• Handling and delivering both frozen and grocery orders to school sites.
• Loading and unloading of food and other supplies from delivery trucks throughout the day.
• Pulling orders as assigned to each school for delivery.
• Must have the ability to lift at least 40 pounds, stand 5-6 hours, and perform all tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
• Ability to drive a cargo van if requested.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Maintain a professional relationship with students, faculty, administration, and community patrons.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have the ability to lift at least 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, squatting.
