POSITIONS: Apptegy Support Specialist TMS (2 positions) LOCATION: TMS REPORTS TO: School Principals/ Superintendent SCHOOL YEAR: 2026-2027 JOB DESCRIPTION: School based Apptegy Support Specialists must wear many hats, and the following areas are an overview of the typical personal qualities sought for our school district Apptegy Support Specialist position:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
• Preference given to those employees who have been involved with the transition from Blackboard to Apptegy which started in January 2022.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists the District Apptegy Web Specialist with developing and maintaining the school websites. Learn the Thrillshare website platform, and work closely with the website service providers, hosting company, or others who provide the platforms upon which we manage our school's websites.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the school's websites, ensuring the functionality, navigation, and overall performance meet the needs of our school/district. This includes ongoing maintenance and updates including content, adding functionality, optimizing images, and includes links, database, and other website add-ons.
• Assure that the school website design is attractive, professional, informative, error-free, and intuitive.
• Regulate and manage the access rights of the different users.
• Proficiency in writing and proofing content. Some editing of images and graphics is also necessary.
• Implement and maintain a style guide for all website content that maintains consistency for all print and content published.
• Develop and implement annual training of website content managers and staff members on use and best practices for the various systems and platforms, including CMS platform for the school and teacher websites and pages.
