POSITION: Grade 5 Cluster Team Leaders (2x), Grade 6 Cluster Team Leaders (2x), Grade 7 Cluster Team Leaders (2x), Grade 8 Cluster Team Leaders (2x), LOCATION: TMS REPORTS TO: Building Principal and/or designee SCHOOL YEAR: 2026-2027 FUNDING: JOB DESCRIPTION: EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
• Previous Team leader experience desired.
• Present employment as a core content instructor in 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade faculty at Thompson Middle School.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities listed below as evidenced by previous experience and the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedules and facilitates team meetings for weekly team meetings.
• Creates agenda and records meeting notes for Team meetings.
• Organizes and schedules activities to coordinate with the school calendar.
• Works with the team to make sure all team members have materials needed for upcoming meetings (ie. data, lesson plans, assessments, etc…)
• Take on duties as needed as directed by the administration team.
• Is proactive to reach out to the admin team to bring any questions and concerns to problem solve things together.
