GEMCO Medical , a well-established and growing healthcare distribution company shipping over 15,000 packages a day with detailed accuracy, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Warehouse Associates whose function includes shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance services. Our West Jordan, UT distribution center is newly opening facility this fall. The warehouse is fully air conditioned in summer, heated in the winter. Clean environment: not dusty, dark, or dirty. No protective clothing required. Dress code is comfortable clothing (sneakers, t-shirts, jeans, etc. all acceptable) Full-time schedule available is Monday through Friday; 9:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (with shift differential). Medical/dental/vision insurances available for full-time employees. Ongoing training and development. Desire to learn with advancement opportunities with a fast-growing company. Position is located in West Jordan, UT. Responsibilities Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements Package and ship orders in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods and practices Unload, sort, count, package, and label inventory that is received Operate distribution center equipment (where applicable) including forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. Utilize WMS RF scanner and computer system for various distribution center activities
