The Role The Cambridge English and Public Speaking Teacher is a core role for our curriculum programme to be delivered at a prestigious school in Foshan, Guangdong Province. You will be using original English textbooks such as Power-Up and Speak-out, and lead the after-school public speaking club for students aged 6–15 . Focusing on English proficiency enhancement and public speaking training , this role helps students develop their English levels and express themselves confidently in real-life scenarios. You will be primarily based in Foshan , with travel to other cities during the summer and winter holidays to support the headquarters' summer and winter camp programs. Key Responsibilities Cambridge English Curriculum Teaching: Deliver standardized Cambridge English lessons for students aged 6–15 with Power-Up and Speak-out textbooks with class sizes ranging from 35-45 pupils. Conduct in-class teaching, regular assessments and timely feedback to improve students’ overall English proficiency. After-school Public Speaking Club Tutoring: Lead the after-school English public speaking clubs (normally under 20 pupils), provide systematic oral and public speaking training. Coach students for English speeches and competitions to build their confidence, logical thinking and expressive abilities. Course Implementation & Curriculum Optimization: Follow official curriculum standards, cooperate with the teaching and research team to optimize courses and teaching resources. Team & Program Support: Provide necessary support to the programme-coordinator in terms of student recruitment and programme operation work. Participate in the winter and summer camp programs near Shanghai, involving cross-city travel . Your Typical Schedule This full-time role involves a five-day workweek, which might include Saturdays and Sundays, with two days off scheduled within the week. You'll balance classroom instruction with dedicated time for lesson planning and student support. Spring & Fall: Teach up to 24 hours per week, balancing weekday with weekend classes at our partner school’s campus in Foshan. Winter & Summer Camps: Focus on center-based teaching, with up to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
