Location: Chancery Lane, Central London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Onsite Experience: Minimum 3 Years PQE We are recruiting on behalf of an established multidisciplinary London law firm seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join its busy and growing Immigration Department. This is a senior fee-earning position combining hands-on immigration casework with supervisory responsibility, client conversion and commercial responsibility. The firm has a strong pipeline of immigration enquiries and is looking for someone who can confidently manage their own caseload while supporting and developing junior members of the department. The Role You will manage a broad range of UK immigration matters, including: Entry clearance and visa applicationsWork, study, visit and family routesLeave to remain and Indefinite Leave to RemainSponsor licence applications and complianceFamily and private life applicationsEU Settlement Scheme mattersAdministrative reviews and appealsNationality and citizenship applications You will also supervise and support immigration paralegals and caseworkers, review work, allocate files and provide technical guidance and mentoring. A key part of the position will be conducting initial client consultations, developing strong client relationships and converting enquiries into retained, fee-paying clients. You will work towards agreed billing and revenue targets and contribute to the continued growth and development of the Immigration Department. About You To be considered, you should: Be a qualified Solicitor admitted to practise in England & WalesHold a valid SRA Practising CertificateHave a minimum of 3 years PQE in UK immigration lawHave broad, hands-on UK immigration experienceHave previous experience supervising paralegals, caseworkers or junior team membersBe confident managing a high-volume caseload independentlyHave strong client-facing and consultation skillsDemonstrate commercial awareness and experience working towards billing targetsHave excellent knowledge of UK immigration law, Immigration Rules and Home Office guidanceHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave the right to work in the UK Experience with immigration appeals, complex matters, sponsor licences or business immigration would be particularly advantageous.
