You will support a team of litigation attorneys handling complex cases in state, federal, and appellate courts. In this role, you will draft, finalize, and e-file legal documents, manage attorney calendars and court deadlines, and communicate directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Ideal candidates will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment in complex cases with many moving parts. Legal Secretary (Civil Litigation Exp Req) Responsibilities • Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, discovery, and correspondence for multiple attorneys • Meticulously coordinate attorney calendars for hearings, depositions, and meetings • E-file documents in state and federal systems and ensure compliance with deadlines and rules • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel • Support trial preparations by securing court reporters, witness preps, and booking travel • Assist paralegal with keeping case files organized, current, and trial-ready • Support timekeeping and billing administration using appropriate software • Assist the team with administrative tasks to keep the firm running smoothly Legal Secretary (Civil Litigation Exp Req) Qualifications • 5+ years experience as civil litigation legal secretary required • Experience with state, federal, and appellate courts required • Mastery of court procedures, deadlines, and e-filing experience required • Enter 14 as your answer to the third application question • Strong organization and proofreading skills required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management, and timekeeping systems required
