In this role, you will lead and support a regional sales team while taking ownership of a territory generating more than $12 million in annual sales revenue. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience with fluid handling equipment, pumps, instrumentation, or engineered systems along with experience managing a direct sales force. To be successful, you must be a strong leader with sales planning, coaching, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Regional Manager – Pumps & Fluid Handling Industry (Sales Leadership Req) Responsibilities • Manage regional sales planning and strategy to drive growth across the New England territory • Lead and develop a team of 4 sales reps, 1 inside sales rep, and 1 technical support professional • Track team KPIs, sales goals, territory performance, and growth opportunities • Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing coaching, training, and support • Travel with sales reps to strengthen customer relationships and advance key accounts • Guide prospecting efforts to identify and develop new business opportunities • Evaluate territory opportunities and support the team in closing business • Manage a small portfolio of direct accounts and develop long-term customer relationships • Work directly with new and existing customers to resolve product, service, and delivery issues • Support product management, competitive analysis, and quarterly planning • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and supplier meetings to support sales growth • Manage supplier relationships, product lines, and expectations to support regional sales goals • Collaborate in person with internal teams at the Connecticut office ~8–10 times per year Regional Manager – Pumps & Fluid Handling Industry (Sales Leadership Req) Qualifications • Sales experience related to pumps or the fluid handling industry is required • 2+ years of experience managing a sales team with direct-report responsibility is required • Strong computer skills are required • Ability to travel approximately 50% (mostly within New England) is required
