Job SummaryYou will serve as a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC in the PORT OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVAL STATION.

Major DutiesYou will repair, overhaul, and modify electrical/electronic equipment.You will troubleshoot using specialized electronic test equipment.You will repair communications, navigation, radar, and electronic systems in accordance with applicable manuals, technical publications, and manufacturer's specifications.You will diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical components such as electrical controls, motors, and other devices using electrical measuring equipment (e.g., voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters).You will perform inspection, maintenance, and repairs on all controls, switches, and connecting and ground cables.You will maintain documentation of maintenance and technical reports.
