Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Administering, evaluating and overseeing all mandatory programs and activities in the Financial Management System; 2) Maintaining functional knowledge of multiple payroll systems, policies, and procedures to effectively assist employees. 3) Analyzing, modifying, and adapting conventional financial and analytical techniques to solve a variety of resource management problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Major DutiesServes as a Financial Management Analyst and subject matter expert on multi-civilian payroll systems (DATAAPS, DCPS), GFEBS-LMP labor management and accounting systems.Performs payroll reconciliations and analyzes financial documents to resolve complex pay discrepancies.Serves as the primary liaison servicing organizations (DFAS and HR) to execute systemic corrections, providing authoritative, regulatory-compliant solutions to leadership and affected personnel.Provides staff and command elements with professional resource management advice, regulatory guidance, payroll policy and procedures.Participate in meetings, task groups, and committees to obtain and disseminate resource management information.
