Job SummaryYou will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Sustainment Group (V4), Command Property Department (V42), of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Competence in advanced theory, concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management; 2) Knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics Management System, the system/equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases; 3) Thorough knowledge of DOD/DON budget processes; administrative relationships within the Navy and DOD/DON; and administrative relationships with the Systems Command and field activities. Major DutiesYou will exercise direct logistical and audit accountability encompassing $302 Billion Naval Aviation assets.You will direct the rigorous compilation, validation, and submission of enterprise-wide quarterly asset listings to the Financial Management Office (FMO).You will translate complex logistical data into verifiable financial reporting metrics to sustain continuous audit readiness.You will ensure the precise logistical classification, condition coding, and financial valuation of all aviation and ordnance assets. Continuously monitors dynamic asset balances and launching proactive corrective actions.You will enforce strict compliance with evolving Department of War (DoW), Department of the Navy (DON), and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) property management regulations across the aviation enterprise.
