Job SummaryTHIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Position Description Number D3021000 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. There are three positions available.
QualificationsMilitary Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which indicates the candidate performed progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience should include supporting the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave. Provides customer service and guidance on organizational personnel policies and procedures. Monitors personnel records and supports preparation of routine personnel actions with guidance from higher graded HR Specialist. Assists with maintaining personnel files and electronic records in accordance with Air Force, Air National Guard, and local directives. Assists commanders, supervisors, and employees in understanding personnel policies and procedures. Collects, compiles, and organizes data for reports and briefings.
Major DutiesAs a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (GS-0303-07), the incumbent is subordinate to and assists the lead CSS in managing daily administrative and unit-level support, executes assigned programs in line with the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG), and supports training of personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies.
