QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems/ programs in accordance with procedures; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; and 4) Executing property management and inventory control plans. Major DutiesYou will provide supply support for production, overhaul, repair or other operations for equipment.You will determine required stock levels for recurring, non-recurring and specialized items based on usage and needs.You will survey and transfer property to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Service or appropriate authority in accordance with Navy Supply manuals.You will make purchases utilizing the Government Purchase Card including purchases made in person and over the phone.You will select best source of information, research catalog databases to locate most cost- effective supplies, new products, and authorized substitutes for stock items.You will perform a variety of record keeping, updating manuals on policies, directives, reporting and information duties.You will prepare memoranda and other routine correspondence.
