QualificationsRESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Demonstrated work experience which includes: Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; AND the application of commercial budgeting techniques.

Major DutiesProvides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and nonappropriated fund budgeting. Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc. Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position. Ensures all individual budgets are coordinated, realistic and support long range planning. Consolidates budgets into a single NAFI package. Evaluates established internal policies, procedures and management controls to ensure adequacy. Monitors compliance. Recommends changes and suggests solutions to managers. Performs analyses of performs financial statements for proposed ventures; evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of proposals; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments. Executes Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring accurate verification, coding, and timely processing of vendor and miscellaneous invoices, disbursements, and expense claims. Manages Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including generating accurate billing, tracking outstanding aging reports, processing incoming payments, and resolving account discrepancies.
