QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1. Applying environmental protection principles, practices, and procedures in inter-disciplinary environmental programs in strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 2. Managing compliance activities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). 3. Conducting comprehensive environmental audits. 4. Overseeing hazardous materials management. 5. Coordinating emergency response protocols. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for implementing environmental policy and providing environmental program management support.You will plan, develop and implement a broad environmental protection program and ensure environmental compliance.You will support the technical and legal staff to define issues with regulators.You will manage hazardous waste handling, spill response, and other environmental service operations.You will assign work to members based on priorities, consideration of difficulty, and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of the members.
