Job SummaryYou will serve as a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of HDQTRS NDW.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating deep understanding of all phases of emergency management, including preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency management plans at the regional or installation level. Experience developing and delivering comprehensive emergency management training programs to diverse audiences. Experience conducting assessments of emergency management programs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective action. Experience contributing to coordinated responses. Experience coordinating activities seamlessly with other services, federal agencies, and installation personnel to achieve common goals. Major DutiesYou will conduct oversight of Navy region and installation Emergency Management planning, preparedness, and response activities to ensure compliance with applicable directives.You will develop procedures to fulfill requirements arising from new modified plans from higher headquarters and other agencies.You will plan and executive specified emergency functions during operations and exercises.You will have the primary responsibility of supporting unique Regional Functions.You will participate in planning conferences and meetings for higher headquarters-directed exercises and real world events.
