Job SummaryThis position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These positions are within the Directorate of Administrative Programs (DAP), in the Office of Financial Management (OFM), Division of Contract Coordination, located in Washington, D. C. This position is at the full performance level. This position is inside the bargaining unit. This position is NOT remote. Selectees will be expected to report to the office listed above.

QualificationsSpecialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience for the GS-13 includes: Performing contract coordination and/or financial management functions in a federal environment. Reviewing and/or recommending approval of contract actions such as: major contracts, Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA's), or purchase orders. Providing technical assistance to program offices. Ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.

Major DutiesDuties for the Contract Support Program Specialist position include, but are not limited to the following: Analyzing, reviewing, and evaluating contract performance and reporting assessments to the Division Chief. Ensuring financial integrity of current and prior year commitments. Contributing to the preparation and presentation of OSHA's future expenditure forecast. Identifying the method and type of contract that will satisfy OSHA requirements while conforming to Federal guidelines. Conducting biannual verification of all capitalized assets to ensure each designated asset is accurately documented and reported. Providing assistance with contract financial oversight ensuring conformity to all laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
