At SeniorWeb, you will find diverse, rewarding, important, and fun volunteer work! You will meet new people, continue to develop yourself, and make someone else happy with your help! What does this volunteer work entail? As an ambassador for PCHelp by Phone, you and a team of eight to ten ambassadors will answer computer, tablet, and smartphone questions from SeniorWeb members on workdays. You must be available for a telephone shift at least once a week during a fixed time slot from 09:00-12:00 or from 13:00-16:00. You work from home using your own computer and software and a headset that you receive on loan from the association office. You stay in contact with your fellow volunteers and colleagues at the association office via Teams. You remotely access the computer of a SeniorWeb member with a computer support request using TeamViewer or Quick Assist for Windows 11. You are available at least once a week between 13:00 and 16:00 for Remote PC Help appointments according to a schedule. Before you start as a Telephone/Remote PC Help ambassador, you will complete an online training course independently from home. What you bring: - You are up to date on current ICT-related topics in consumer electronics and have a willingness to investigate and/or experiment, as well as a solution-oriented attitude. - You are able to quickly search the internet for targeted solutions. - You keep your knowledge up to date through self-study and/or by attending inspiration and training sessions...
