About this role
Independently manage our beautiful construction projects, celebrate successes with colleagues and ensure a satisfied client. This is what your job as a supervisor looks like with us. Vacancy Supervisor What will you do? When the plans for a construction project are finely honed, your work begins. You are the connecting factor between stakeholders (architects, structural engineers, government, clients) on one side, and the construction site (contractors and builders) on the other. You pull, push, massage, steer, and ensure that everything is completed within the given time, quality, and budget. Additionally, you work closely with the supervisor: your eyes and ears on the site. If things don't go as planned, you provide clear, practical advice to get all parties back on track without hesitation. If necessary, you're not afraid to assertively demand compliance. Ensuring the correct execution of the construction contract by the contracting parties is indeed your responsibility, and you take it very seriously. All to successfully conclude the complex, diverse construction projects entrusted to us. What do you bring? You're of the type: less talk, more action. Roll up your sleeves and get it done. Through your proactive, well-thought-out initiatives, you effortlessly rally others. In construction projects, the UAV is your bible, and the construction ethos is your natural habitat. You adhere to processes and frameworks when possible, and you're flexible and pragmatic when necessary. Your construction-related education at HBO/WO level provides the right foundation for this. Experience as a construction supervisor is valuable, but the right qualities are more important. For example, if you're currently working as a supervisor and aim to take the next step. We'd like to talk to you further. What do we offer you? Stevens Van Dijck may not be a family business, but it feels like one. We are a small, informal organization without frills...
