Are You Our New Kitchen Steward?Are you hardworking, detail-oriented and proud of creating a clean and organised workplace? Then you could be the Kitchen Steward we are looking for at Hilton Garden Inn Leiden. We are looking for a part-time Steward for 24 hours a week! As a Kitchen Steward, you ensure that all dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment used by our Food & Beverage operation are cleaned thoroughly and ready for use. You work early and/or late shifts in the kitchen and stewarding area and collaborate closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.What will you be doing?· Working with the team to create an excellent guest experience· Cleaning and correctly storing dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment· Keeping the stewarding area clean, safe and organised· Polishing and sorting cutlery, glassware and crockery· Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly· Following hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards· Supporting the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams whenever needed Functie-eisen: Who are we looking for?· You are a reliable team player with a positive attitude· You are punctual and have a keen eye for detail· You enjoy working in a clean, organised environment· You are flexible and available for different shifts, including weekends and public holidays· You have a basic command of Dutch and/or English· Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is welcome, but not essentialWhat do we offer?· A welcoming workplace within a diverse and international team· A dynamic hotel environment where teamwork and initiative are valued· Regular internal and external training and opportunities to grow within the hotel and Hilton· Access to Hilton's learning and development programmes·
